Citizens Bank Guyana Inc.

Incorporated in 1993, Citizens Bank commenced business as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Citizens Bank Jamaica Limited in 1994. The bank became fully owned by Guyanese in 1998. Existing Guyanese shareholders acquired the remaining 70% shareholding in Citizens Bank Guyana Inc. that were held by Citizens Bank Jamaica Limited. At this time, Banks DIH Limited, a beverage manufacturing behemoth of Guyana, acquired sufficient additional shares to enable it to own 51% of the share capital of the Bank.

Citizens Bank provides retail and commercial banking services through its branch network of six (6) branches and eleven (11) ATM locations.
